Shanghai Zhongka Shanghai China Card was authorised to produce second-generation ID card by the Ministry of Public Security of PRC in 2003.
In 2004,the national second generation ID card project was launched, and the second generation ID card was officially issued,then 1.3 billion people across the country began to replace the second generation ID card.
By 2011,Shanghai China Card has completed the production of 140 million second-generation ID cards,Because of its good products and services in the second generation ID card project,the first Research Institute of the Ministry of public security specially awarded the "sincere service and trustworthy quality" banner to Shanghai China Card,in recognition of its outstanding performance.
